John Green, born in 1977 is an American author who writes for young adults. In 2006 he won the Michael L. Printz Award, in 2009 the Edgar Award, and has been a finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize twice. He also became famous for his YouTube channel vlogbrothers, which he launched with his brother Hank. They have more than 20 million views logged and continue to load new content every week. Through their YouTube channel they have raised hudreds of thousands of pounds for charity, fighting poverty. John lives with his wife and son in Indianapolis, Indiana.
